Monitoring the response of Severn Suspension Bridge in the United Kingdom using multi?GNSS measurements

The application of GPS in bridge monitoring aims to determine accurately and precisely the response deck towers estimate main characteristics (amplitude modal frequencies). requirement is a high level accuracy availability fixed solutions, which ensure reliable operation result precise estimation bridge's response. However, derived time series can be contaminated by noise, due performance satellite(s), geometry satellite constellation potential obstructions elements, even lead solution poor and/or precision reduced efficiency monitoring. This study investigates contribution other Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) constellations for more robust displacement solution, from multi-GNSS records. More specifically, novel method developed derive optimal combination GNSS records based on checks parameters reflect quality satellites signals. applied Severn Suspension Bridge, United Kingdom, it revealed enhancement specific intervals various locations support towers, suspension cables deck.
